Simon Fastnedge

Simon Fastnedge was born in Newbury, Berkshire. He now lives in Bournemouth having studied there at University. Although having pursued art throughout his school years, Simon is a self-taught artist who specialises in contemporary art. He enjoys using strong vivid images and characters which are often juxtaposed with images of light and water to create truly original art. The themes of his paintings touch on love, lonely hearts and friendship, and he aims to create a sense of innocence and humour within each. Mediums used include acrylic and gouache
