Andrea Hook

Andrea lives in Dorset, and her gift for art was recognised and encouraged from an early age by her art teacher at Middle School. She studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree at University, and worked for 15 years as a graphic designer and illustrator in London and in Dorset. Andrea has produced illustrated natural-history information boards for various locations in the county including Lyme Regis, Blandford, Sturminster Newton and Okeford Hill. On raising her family, Andrea was moved to immortalise her children by painting their portraits, and has continued to challenge herself creatively in all her following projects.
